Chris from New Cross studied maths at Bristol Uni where he also did a whole bunch of music stuff and thus fell in with this crowd. He later did a masters in the trumpet at Trinity-Laban Conservatoire and has since played with such groups as Chainska Brassika, Dat Brass, and the John Bird Big Band.

 

He's a regular contributor to Radio 3, though his comments hardly ever get read out. We suspect this is because the Radio 3 demographic aren't yet ready for his forward thinking and often revolutionary ideas.
